Troubleshoot Outlook for Windows issues

Simply that Outlook will be loaded without your add-ins and customization files. Many users experience the same confusion by asking themselves, "Why is my browser so slow? " The problem of slow browser performance affects users of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft... Whether it’s creating a new outlook profile or setting up your primary email, we’ve got you covered. Sometimes a Windows update or app update—meant to fix things—ends up causing the problem.

Add-ins are extensions that you can install to enhance Outlook’s functionality and unlock additional features, like CRM integration. But these add-ins can sometimes result in compatibility issues, especially if they’re not up-to-date or poorly coded. A conflicting add-in might cause Outlook to freeze, crash, or not open at all.

You can also add the secondary connected accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) in Outlook.com as additional accounts in the Outlook profile. Not something you want to take on lightly, but sometimes you have to. Similar to our earlier suggestion of repairing Office (see #3 Repair Your Microsoft Office above), perform the same steps except choose to Uninstall. Be aware that you may need your product key if you received one.

If you've already clicked the Accept button in Outlook 2016, you won't be able to re-accept the invitation from another Outlook application. The person who sent you the invitation will need to remove your permissions and then send a new invitation. If you manually type in the secondary connected account email address in the "From" field, the email is sent as "On behalf of" your primary Outlook.com account.
